As Israel’s first underground transit system, the Red Line
design focuses on optimizing the user experience with
an interior architectural design philosophy that promotes
intuitive wayfinding and safety. Employing a single
architectural language across all ten stations, the openness
of the interior spaces and clarity of passenger movement
is enhanced by the lighting solutions. The lighting ,on the
design level focused on establishing visual rhythm to manifest
the experience of movement and on the technical level
provided hierarchy of light levels to ensure the end user`s
sense of safety and sense of direction
